Its that time! We are excited to meet our returning and newest group of scholars and families as we prepare to kick off another school year!
Good afternoon,
Northpoint Community Church will be holding a uniform and supply giveaway at Meadowview Elementary on this Saturday, July 18th. This event is open to students from schools across Bossier Parish, not just Meadowview scholars.
It is free to anyone with children in Bossier Parish and will be open to familes from 12-2pm.
In order to receive uniforms, you must have the following with you:
- Name of Bossier Parish School
- Valid photo ID of guardian or a utility bill with Bossier Parish address.
- Uniform sizes (top & shorts)
All children must be accompanied by parent/guardian.

The McKinney Vento team will be hosting mobile enrollment assistance at various schools in July.
Our date is July 16th from 1:30pm-3:00pm. This event is for families who are in temporary living situations or who qualified for assistance under McKinney-Vento last school year.

Due to the severity of the weather and employee safety, today's summer meal box distribution is being pushed back an hour. Meals will be available for pickup at all four sites from 8 a.m. to noon. We appreciate your understanding.

If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Parents, thank you for a great year! We have had questions about awards ceremonies on tomorrow. We shared this earlier in the month, but want to ensure everyone has the same information. Awards ceremonies for grades 1-4 will be held tomorrow morning, beginning at 8 am.
We will also celebrate scholars with no more than 1 absence for the month of May with a bounce house/inflatable tomorrow afternoon.

Field Day is tomorrow!
Here are s couple of answers to frequently asked questions:
Attire: Sports shorts are acceptable with field day shirts. If scholars don't have a field day shirt, they can wear s school shirt or shirt that matches the color of their class shirt.
Concessions: Tickets for concessions will be sold tomorrow. Cash is the best option for payment.
Kona Ice and Good Cravingz food truck will also be on campus to sell food and refreshments.
