📚🏆 **THE ATTENDANCE PLAYBOOK: WEEK 6**

**18 days = 10% of the school year!** 😲

Missing 18 days during a typical 180-day school year means a scholar has missed **10% of their entire year of learning**. And think about everything packed into those days—teacher instruction, small groups, hands-on activities, interventions, class discussions, and time with friends! 🧠✏️

Every day your Roadrunner walks through our doors is another opportunity to **learn, grow, connect, and succeed.** 💙🧡

📣 **Protect the learning time. Stay in the game. SHOW UP!**

📣🏆 THE ATTENDANCE PLAYBOOK: WEEK 5

Excused or unexcused…missed learning is still missed learning! 📚⏰

Did you know? When determining chronic absenteeism, ALL absences count—including excused absences. Missing 10% of the school year (about 18 days in a typical 180-day year) can put a scholar in the chronically absent category.

We know there are times when children NEED to miss school—and staying home when sick is important! 💙 But when your Roadrunner is healthy and able to attend, every day in the classroom matters.

🏆 Keep them healthy. Keep them learning. Keep them in the game! 💙🧡

📚🏆 THE ATTENDANCE PLAYBOOK: WEEK 4

Reading success starts with SHOWING UP! 📖✨

Did you know? Research shows that children who are chronically absent during the early elementary years are less likely to be reading on grade level by 3rd grade.

Every day at school gives your Roadrunner more opportunities to read, practice, build skills, and grow! 💙🧡

📣 The game plan is simple: BE HERE. LEARN. GROW. SUCCEED.

📊 THE ATTENDANCE PLAYBOOK: WEEK 3 🏆

A day here…a day there…it can add up FAST! 📅

Did you know that missing just 2 days of school each month can add up to about 20 DAYS in one school year? Over five years, that same pattern could mean nearly 100 DAYS of missed learning! 😲

Every day your Roadrunner is at school is another opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and succeed! 💙🧡

🏁 Don’t let missed days add up—winning starts with SHOWING UP!

Good evening, Meadowview families! We hope everyone has had an enjoyable and safe weekend. We want to make you aware of an important change to our morning arrival procedures beginning tomorrow, Monday, August 17, 2026, as we continue working to maximize safety for our scholars and families. In previous years, families have been permitted to park in the church parking lot across from the school and walk scholars across Shed Road to campus. Beginning tomorrow, we are asking families to no longer use the church parking lot for morning drop-off or walk scholars across Shed Road during morning arrival. This change is being made to reduce pedestrian traffic across Shed Road, help prevent potential injuries, and maintain a safe and continuous flow of traffic during one of the busiest times of the school day. 🚗 Morning Drop-Off: Please use the designated car line to drop scholars off each morning. 🏫 Visiting the School Office: If you need to enter the building to speak with office staff, please utilize the designated parking area on the side of the school. 📍 School Programs & Events: The church parking lot may still be utilized during school programs and special events when additional parking is needed. Families choosing to park there during these occasions should exercise additional caution when crossing Shed Road and ensure that children are closely supervised while crossing. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we make this adjustment. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our scholars, families, staff, and community safe! 💙

📊 **THE ATTENDANCE PLAYBOOK: WEEK 2** 🏆

Did you know **90% attendance** might sound great—but in a 180-day school year, that means missing about **18 DAYS of school**?! 😲 That’s more than **3 weeks of valuable learning time!**

Every lesson, every activity, and every day adds up. Help your Roadrunner **stay in the game** by making strong attendance a priority! 🏃📚

💙🧡 **Winning starts with SHOWING UP!**
